There are many ways to explore nature. The ATV trip offers you a lot of excitement and diversity.
The trip takes place in one of the finest landscapes of the
Apuseni Mountains or West Carpathians with endless forest, beautiful lakes, canyons, vertical cliffs
and a wild and authentic nature. The big carnivores as wolf, bear and lynx still
inhabit the most remote regions. There
are thousands of kilometers forestry roads, country roads
and tracks all through the mountains. The landscape
offers a lot of diversity and open meadows interchange
with dark forest. You travel over alpine meadows and
through narrow gorges. Altitudes vary between 300m and
1850m. Sometimes there might be snow as late as May or
as early as September on the high ridges. The
mountains are also inhabit and there are remote
authentic villages and settlements up to 1500m where
people harvest the forest or herd sheep and cattle
during the summer months.
An experienced guide will assist
you during your trip. There is technical assistance (special ATV + mechanic) all the time
with you during the
trip.
You stay overnight in very comfortable accommodation.
We choose a few fine hotels and guesthouses that have
rooms with private bathroom. Dinner you will enjoy at
the local hotels or guesthouses. A lunch will be
provided during the trip.
We offer 2 trips:
A short 3 day trip near Cluj Napoca
and a 6 day trip to the highest peaks of the Western
Carpathians.

Lita fortress - Plopi monastery Gilau,

Gong in Gilau***. Distance: 70 km. Trip through the hilly country side to the
south and east of Cluj Napoca with as highlight the famous Turda Canyon,
nature reserve. Day
2:
Gilau - Dealul Ijar - Marisel -
Crucea Iancului - Dobrus - Racatau - Dobrin - Balta - Plopi - vila Gong - 80
km. Round trip in the remote regions of the Gilau mountains and you climb up
to 1300m altitude. Accommodation

Day 3:
Gilau - Gura Rastii - Hasdate

meadows and patches of forest.

Casa de Piatra - Calineasa - Ursoaia pass - Albac Distance 65 km. Accommodation

famous Ice cave Scarisoara (where even in the hottest summer days is snow and
ice) optional visit of the beautiful decorated Ghetarul de la Virtop cave and
the Calineasa Meadow with very primitive remote settlements.
